I've read some reviews of this distro based on Bodhi and the project seems interesting. They published a new release, couple of days ago, based on Bodhi 7.0: LINKThe 32bit version should be based on Bodhi 7.0 and Debian.
Did someone try it?

Yeah I agree the 32-bit should be based on Bodhi 7.0 and Debian. I hope they talked with ylee about basing on 32-bit on bodhi 6 legacy beta, because that never was released, never made it out of beta, and with bodhi 7 coming out sometime soon, it probably never will be. So there would have been no need to keep the bl6 legacy repo maintained once there is a bl7 legacy repo and iso. I guess worst case tho their users just get debian updates and get stuck with whatever bodhi stuff came on the iso.
I suspect they did it because they decided they want to release now and not wait for Bodhi 7. Ubuntu 18.04 that Bodhi 5.1 is based on loses Ubuntu support in April this year, so they may not wanna leave their users hanging, and have some anxiety about waiting on Bodhi to deliver in time and them to have time to do their testing and modifications too, etc. They've probably tested the bodhi 7 alpha3 and bodhi 6 legacy beta and think they're good enough to base their distro on already, and certainly for 64-bit their users will automatically update later, and they can release a new 32-bit based version on Bodhi 7 when we finally have one (hopefully in time at least to keep our direct users supported!).
I'm just imagining tho.

I installed the 64-bit on my testing laptop and am trying it out. So far I find it not as fast or stable as Bodhi. It does have a bunch of apps that are installed on it by default but most of the apps are ones that I dont use or have a use for. To me it has a lot of bloat to it that I have no need for as I prefer to pick and choose what I want or need. One thing I noticed is that it does have a lot of the older Bodhi wallpapers from the past. With the above said it is interesting to say the least but I dont find myself switching to it. Below are a few screenshots of my time with it so far.

As the lead developer for Escuelas Linux, Astro was highly pleased with both the BL7 alpha release and the BL6 legacy/Debian release. He regularly communicates with me and Štefan, and we assist him with any challenges he faces. Additionally, I consult with Astro on the construction of the ISOs he creates. It's safe to say that he has a deeper understanding of the development of Moksha and future releases than many forum members and possibly even some team members.
