Here we go again. Installed projectM and Milkdrop - both unavailable in Clementine and Audacious visualization plugins section after install. Clementine has visualizations grayed out. Gallgher appears in my menu list for hidden networks. Since the menu selection closes before you can take a screenshot I had to select his network so you could see the evidence. Installed Ubuntu 22.04 last week. Got hacked immediately via the Snap store downloads - they used the CORE updates under system to install spyware - deeproot? that showed PasswordSafe and GIMP as the only options in the Ubuntu Snap store. I killed the snap process to access the store but deleted Ubuntu. After Install Bodhi works well but not great. File size calcs are OK but total free space after install on 1TB SSD showed 890GB free. Seems off a little bit. Clementine CD rip does not work - chose mp3, ogg - neither work. btw Clementine is way better overall than rhythymbox - great sw. Thanks for the great OS. And support. yea I know I am supposed to read all of the threads before asking silly questions but: DVD player in VLC does not work and: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MilkDropOriginally closed source, version 1.04 Milkdrop's source code was released under the BSD license in May 2005.[13][14] Geoff "Redi Jedi" Potter[15] has taken up developing the program since 2005 and has released six beta versions.[7] With the availability of the source code, MilkDrop has been ported to many platforms: for instance to XBMC (now Kodi), a homebrew developed media player that can be downloaded for Xbox, PC, or as a LiveCD. projectM[16] is an implementation of MilkDrop using OpenGL in C++, and is released under the GNU LGPL. It is available as a plugin for Audacious, XMMS, Winamp, iTunes, Jack, PulseAudio, foobar2000, Windows Media Player, VLC media player and XBMC. The VLC versions 2.2.0 and higher no longer support the projectM plugin.[17] It comes natively with Clementine, Poweramp, and Qmmp that are also available in the Play Store on Android. MilkDrop 2.0 was released in 2007, introducing Per Pixel Shader support. It is available with Winamp 5.5 or from projectM in their 2.0.1 version for use with other players like the VLC media player. MilkDrop 2 added DirectX 9.0 support and added the ability to use pixel shaders in its presets. The source code for MilkDrop 2.25c has been released on 15 May 2013.[11] Milkdrop is implemented in Winamp (actual 5.66). Mildrop does not work. There are ZERO visualizations included with Clementine. That is = to 1 - 0. Exactly ZERO included.

I have no experience with clementine, and without trying to replicate your issue I’m of no real use other than google and clementine docs. I don’t have a computer with a cd drive either, so even less able to try and replicate. Check other forums, docs, particularly Ubuntu. There may be some useful info there. Hopefully someone here can also try and replicate and troubleshoot.

I suggested Ubuntu resources as Bodhi is based on Ubuntu and they have a lot more resources than us. Things that work for Ubuntu generally work for Bodhi if it’s not window manager related.

btw I do not want you guys getting mad at me since I am not mad at you or Bodhi developers
In my opinion this is the best Linux OS hands down and I have tried over a dozen on liveUSB
The issue from my early UNIX knowledge since I am teaching myself daily (about 3% of the 100% there is to know at command line stuff) seems to be in the multiverse section of the synaptic manger where LMMS posts a package with fake install requirements.
Kudos to all the great work on Bodhi - awesome interface, mods etc
I am also getting an authenticate prompt to remove a USB device which seems like a hack? It comes and goes and file copy from HD to USB stops at 99% occasionally and does not finish. Very strange

No worries.
What do you mean by fake install requirements? Multiverse is a Ubuntu repo, so we have no jurisdiction over that. I’m pretty sure there is nothing dodgy with those packages though. In my 20 year plus experience I’ve never had a problem with them.
Re usb transfer, again, what do you mean? Is it locked? If files are being transferred up to 99% it is likely you have some bad sectors on the stick. But regardless, I’m not entirely sure I’m properly understanding either of these issues.
