Hello all. I have problem with vpn connection in Bodhi linux. After few hours struggle to solve it, finally I can solved it. I search in this forum, no posting/thread about vpn problem, so I make this thread. I hope it can be helpful.
Problem:
Solved: sudo apt install gnome-session gdm3 sudo apt-get install openvpn network-manager-openvpn network-manager-openvpn-gnome network-manager-pptp network-manager-pptp-gnome network-manager-vpnc network-manager-l2tp-gnome sudo service network-manager restart
I'm sorry, I'm not expert in Linux environment, just common user. So, if the step to solve this problem not suitable, I'm sorry but it's work. I think install gnome-session gdm3 is optional. I assume if I install gnome desktop environment can solved the problem, but while add VPN show error: unable to load VPN connection editor. Then I follow this link:
problem solved: execute all command from comments.

Thank you for posting your solution! sudo apt install gnome-session gdm3 Pretty sure this is not only optional but also potentially harmful.
