@ Bodhi team
I don't know how many users had this issue so far, but here on my multi boot system with MX-Linux-19.4, Bodhi-5.1 and Win10 installed (all of them 64 bit),
when updating Firefox to 105 on MX-Linux, Firefox became absolutely unusable, because it always used to crash, no matter what option I clicked.
The only working solution was to restore a Timeshift backup (to return to Firefox 104.0.2), block the update for Firefox 105, wait a few days for the release of 105.0.1, unblock the updates for Firefox, and then everything was fine again.
Again, I don't know, if Bodhi is also affected by that issue, because I didn't dare trying it there, too. All i can say is, be warned about updating to Firefox 105, it can be very buggy.
I strongly recommend to the Bodhi team:
Please release the update for Firefox 105.0.1 as soon as possible, just to be safe.

Bodhi 5.1 is currently offering package version 105.0+build2-0ubuntu0.18.04.1 and I'm currently using it without issue. Bodhi 6 offers a similar version (105.0+build2-0ubuntu0.20.04.1). These are provided in Ubuntu repositories and I don't see any serious bugs filed against it.
(This forum software breaks the link to the bug tracker btw, there is a + in it that is required. bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox )

Are you sure, this is the proper link to the bug tracker? I'm asking because here on my system, the uBlock origin add-on in Firefox is blocking that page, using this filter: ||viglink.com^
Regarding Firefox 105, maybe it's depending on the hardware in use? Or perhaps in combination to the installed System? I don't know. In fact it happened in MX and only on one of my two computers, so just as a precaution, I thought I better report it, because it might happen on Bodhi, too.

The forum software tries to put an add before every link, thats that viglink.com stuff. If you're using ublock origin, you'll get a landing page where you can continue or stop. If you continue ublock will block the ad, and you'll end up where you were supposed to be. (You can mark it permanent to ignore that landing page next time.)
But in addition to that, for that particular link it's removing the + so messing up the link. Anyway there's nothing interesting in the bug tracker, I just checked it to make sure there wasn't anything serious going on against ubuntu's 105 version, and it appears fine, nothing new.

Mmmh,.. that's strange (about the 105 version). I had this issue only on one of my two computers, which was pointing to a broken Firefox profile, but I replaced both the profile and the Firefox installation itself, but all in vain. The only solution was... well, I reported that above, already. After updating to 105.0.1 everything was fine again, without having anything changed about Firefox. I didn't understand it. Well, at least, the issue is fixed now.
