Hi! I use bodhi on an HP Elitedesk. Unfortunately, the standby and hibernation modes do not work correctly.
What do I have to do so that bodhi/the PC goes into a power-saving mode after x minutes so that the fan no longer runs etc.?
At the end of the day I would like to put the machine to sleep so that the next day all open applications/windows appear as before. When I select hibernate, there appears to be some disk access, but nothing else happens.
It would be great if someone would help.
Greeting, Olaf

Good luck, I think this kind of problem is tricky. I have several PCs, and they all behave differently; one wont do either, one works to hibernate but not suspend, and one works to suspend but not hibernate. I've never fully investigated mine, but I hope you get some good advice and I may just try it myself!

In Ubuntu, hibernate is not enabled by default.
