My /etc/fstab shows...
/dev/mapper/bodhi--vg-root / ext4 errors=remount-ro 0 1
...while it's installed on an older notebook with early SSD drive. Should I have installed it on an ext2 file system to reduce wear? How?

I tried to disable jounaling on my installed ext4 file system by booting the USB installation media and invoking tune2fs, but it told me I had a bad magic number on a LVM parttioned drive. So is my only option to re-install using ext2? Re-install, re-install! I will get it right eventually. It's my problem for loving an antique 32-bit Asus eee PC-900.
