My use case: Due to poorly-written software that appears to have hard-coded "localhost" redirects, I have a need for a lightweight Linux desktop (vs. server) and have chosen Bodhi Linux for the job. And I was successful in installing the software I'm testing and able to use the browser to access that application. I am also using TeamViewer for remote access to the Bodhi environment. I am finding if my monitor has went so sleep after inactivity, that TeamViewer isn't able to connect. I've disabled the monitor's sleep function and have attempted to do the same for Bodhi but haven't yet been successful; in other words, I don't want the monitor to go to sleep ever. The only solution I've found so far is to login and set the desktop to Presentation Mode. What I've tried that hasn't worked (the monitor still goes to sleep after 10 minutes):
sudo xset s noblank
sudo xset s 0 0
sudo xset dpms 0 0 0
sudo xset -dpms
So I'm after any solution that would allow the monitor to NOT go to sleep that can be automated. Below is my inxi -Fxz results:
