Is there a way to have the screen go blank after logging out of the desktop.
I'm not sure where the settings are for this. I know how to do this when I'm logged in Moksha.

Bodhi uses lightdm as the login manager.
If you use light-locker as your screen blanker, I think it should work in lightdm too (when you're logged out) but that's just a guess. I believe there is a config app for it too called light-locker-settings. I haven't tested this tho, just believe it should work (I personally autologin and never see lightdm).

I have the screen blank set to 1 minute in the Settings - Screen - Blanking section.
I also autologin, but there are times I log out to recoup RAM. I may want to walk away and leave it at the login screen, but after 5 minutes there is no activity.
So I have no idea if it's ever going to screen blank, or where the setting menu is for that.

So far the only thing I can find is an Arch entry for Xfce in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-monitor.confwiki.archlinux.org/title/Display_Power_Management_SignalingThere's only one problem. It appears Ubuntu-based distros don't have the folder xorg.conf.dArch and Fedora do have this folder. Assuming that adding 10-monitor.conf with proper entries is the answer, I don't know where it should be without the xorg.conf.d folder

kev, did you try what I suggested yet? Install light-locker and light-locker-settings, then use the settings app to configure it. I also recall another thread on here somewhere where ylee explained how to setup light locker as default screen blanker...

Oh, I didn't realize light-locker needed to be installed. I just didn't think about it. That's not usually my first thought, to start installing things I did get the blanking feature to work with Fedora. I logged out of Cinnamon and it did blank the screen after 1 minute so that's progress. Maybe I can simply add the xorg.conf.d folder with the 10-monitor.conf file.

It turns out I don't need to install light locker for this. Just simply adding the folder xorg.conf.d to /etc/X11 with the conf file 10-monitor.conf did the trick.
The file 10-monitor.conf has in its contents:
Section "Monitor" Identifier "LVDS0" Option "DPMS" "true" EndSection
Section "ServerFlags" Option "StandbyTime" "0" Option "SuspendTime" "0" Option "OffTime" "1" Option "BlankTime" "0" EndSection
Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "ServerLayout0" EndSection
The 0 for StandbyTime ect disables that feature.
OffTime as 1 is in minutes. I don't know if 1.5 would work.

The 1.5 setting doesn't work and disables it. It appears only a whole number will suffice.
Now I have to figure out how to get the screen to blank while audio is being played in a web browser. Of course ylee might be working on this (fingers crossed).
If I can't find code from the Arch guys, I might have to break down and install light locker to see if that works.

Similar issue here, screen never blanks, just goes to login screen after timeout.
I've tried the light-locker trick and that didn't have any effect. I'll try the X11 conf idea next.

**update** The X11 trick doesn't work for me But I've been away from Linux for a looooong time, so it's probably more my stupidity than anything else. Oh, for the good old days when the GUI was hooey and command-line was king! Unfortunately I wouldn't get far on LinkedIn and editing my CV in text mode! Running Bodhi 6.1.0
