I am jealous. I like the scenery you posted. A wooden house in the forest, a nice fire, a good internet connection, bodhi as os, good food and alcohol, music...

When I lived in Colorado, April snow was as common as Subarus. Here in deep South Texas, not so much.

Doesn't know what it wants to do now. Lightning and Thundering, sleet, snow and/or rain.

I grew up in Alaska and although I can't remember how often it actually snowed in April, I do know for sure we had until May 1st to remove studded tires and sometimes not all the roads weren't dry by then.... And yep, Subarus are the number one import up there too Here in San Jose California they're rare; up there they outnumber honda/toyota. When I left (in 2005) there were even still quite a few 1980s 4wd station wagons still on the roads...

I mean not common is, last snow in April we had was back on April 7, 2010 and it was just a dusting. Where I lived for alittle over 32 years, don't recall prior April's before 2010 having any.
More about "At home", I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon and Washington state).
