If anyone can assist with implementing - Option "FlipXY" "boolean" ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=943297The above may do it, or it will just do the same as "xinput set-prop X "Coordinate Transformation Matrix" -1 0 1 0 -1 1 0 0 1"

Is there a mouse calibration program (gui) that may be able to correct this. I don't mind the upside pointer ...

Yes same case as that person.
Bodhi 6 Kernel: 5.4.0-72-generic
Experimenting with "FlipXY" but no luck yet.
There are all sorts of things in xorg.conf.d for Dell,Radeon etc (?)

no, this is not a solution. It is an application with reversed mouse movement Stefan PS: my effort and knowledge shrinked a bit so sorry I can not help more. I have never faced this issue and I haven't got such a machine to reproduce your problem.

I wonder if there is a firmware or BIOS update/upgrade available for your device? It's a reach, but may be worth investigating as the problem spans distros. To me, that seems to point to hardware, but I could be wrong.

The Bad Joke Thread is the best. I didn't want to overdue it, so I slowed down

Hi again, After many more hours and a few more distros I came back to Bodhi and tried the following from wiki.archlinux.org/title/Multi-pointer_Xxinput create-master [name] xinput reattach [slave device name or id] [master device name or id] So I created a "MyMouse" input and attached my touchpad's id to it and bang! IT WORKS!!! I have a mouse that is moving and clicking correctly. I now need activate this on startup. Can one add xinput commands directly to a conf file in xorg.conf.d ? Also if someone can please consider this for a few moments, because this is a work around and not a solution. I believe that the fact that it works reveals the answer. I just don't have any knowledge of Linux's workings... It's as if the above uses a different driver or something. Thanks, Jayx

Good news
I have never faced your issue and I have never heard of multiple pointers. Interesting... Why not to have a working workaround? I can guide you how to add xinput to Bodhi autostart.
Open terminal and paste or write this command: leafpad .e/e/applications/startup/startupcommands
It will open a file where you can paste your xinput command with attributes. Each line means one command so you can add more autostart apps if you need. Then just save the file and reboot or log out and log in to the Moksha desktop.

Stefan that worked. Thank you so much. I am happy to lay this to rest for a while.
